What are the symptoms of a migraine?

Migraine is a headache that lasts anywhere from four hours to three days. It's moderate to severe in intensity, has a pulsating or throbbing quality to it. It is aggravated by or causes avoidance of routine physical activity, such as going up and down stairs, and it's usually one-sided. Many patients have nausea and/or vomiting with the headache, and may have both light and sound sensitivity as well.
