How We Partner for Better Care

Premier Health collaborates with other leading organizations and initiatives in the region to advance the state of medical knowledge, practice and health care for the benefit of physicians and their patients.

Examples of these partnerships include:

  • Clinical trials through the Clinical Trials Research Alliance (CTRA), a partnership of Wright State University and Premier Health
  • Medical residency programs, in partnership with Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine
  • Wright State University and Premier Health developed a comprehensive, collaborative approach to meet the needs of the community for years to come. The partnership is transformational and prioritizes producing more clinicians, nurses, and other health care providers. This will spur new research opportunities and provide patients with better access to vital medical care closer to home. This partnership allows for growth in medical education offering eight residency and three fellowship programs that are offered at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
  • Premier Health and The Christ Hospital Health Network have partnered to provide patients access to highly specialized cardiovascular care close to home through joint efforts of leading experts at both organizations. This new partnership allows both organizations to expand access, enhance services, and provide world-class care without duplication of resources.
  • Brethen Center for Robotic Education, which educates physicians and allied medical staff on emerging surgical technology
  • Ascend Innovations™, a collaborative effort of clinicians, engineers, designers, data scientists and business analysts to develop marketable products that advance health care and quality of life for patients
  • Greater Dayton Area Hospital Association, an 11-county organization dedicated to ensuring quality health care and developing innovative solutions.
