Sports Physical Therapy Residency Program

Beginning June 30, 2025, Premier Health will partner in the University of Dayton Sports Physical Therapy Residency Program. Sports residents selected for this clinical partnership are licensed physical therapists employed by Premier Health who also complete advanced coursework through the University of Dayton Department of Physical Therapy. 

The goal of this 12-month program is for residents to develop the skills necessary to sit and pass the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) Sports Certified Specialist (SCS) Exam. Additional Fellowships

  • The Administrative Fellowship Program is a two-year program that provides diverse experiences to future health care leaders by fostering close working relationships between the Administrative Fellow and Premier Health senior leaders.
  • The RN Transition Fellowship is designed to help an RN with LTC or ECF experience successfully move into the hospital care setting.

Internships

The Dietetic Internship Program at Miami Valley Hospital is dedicated to providing quality education, which prepares the dietetic intern to be a competent entry-level Registered Dietitian in diverse settings in an evolving profession.

Job Shadowing

Premier Health offers opportunities for students to learn about a variety of health care careers in clinical and non-clinical settings, or for the college student to obtain experiences for degree requirements.
