What is your clinical specialty? Epilepsy
Where did you go to school?
I received my Bachelor of Science in nursing from Kent State University and my Master of Science in nursing from Mount Carmel College of Nursing in Columbus, Ohio.
What brought you to Premier Health? My husband and I relocated from Columbus to Dayton for his career and I knew from many colleagues that Miami Valley Hospital was the best of the best! I wanted to be where the action was and in the heart of Dayton.
Why did you choose medicine as a career? I chose medicine from an interest in science and humanity, blending the two together.
Who are the people who influenced and/or mentored you? My critical care colleagues that raised me as a young nurse.
What is one thing most people don’t know about you? I have a green thumb and have a large vegetable garden every year.
Where is your hometown? Dublin, Ohio
What, if any, sports team(s) do you cheer for? The Columbus Blue Jackets!
What is the last book you read? “What to Expect the First Year” (we are currently expecting our first child!)
What is your favorite song in your playlist? Who can actually answer this question?! Right now, probably any Taylor Swift song.
What is your favorite food? Chipotle burritos
What is your favorite hobby? Walking and spending time with my two dogs, Franklin and Pearl.
What is your favorite animal, and why? Dogs, they are silly and loving and a valued member of the family, I think every household needs a dog.
Where is your favorite vacation spot, and why? Palm Springs, California, I love every desert location.
Describe something (a thing, person, place, experience, etc.) for which you are especially thankful: Expected, but I am thankful for my family.
