Physician Leadership Announcements
Please welcome Krishna Nimmagadda, MD, vice president of acute hospital medicine, Premier Physician Network and David Cha, MD, associate chief medical informatics officer, Premier Health.
Dr. Nimmagadda brings years of physician leadership experience, including managing practices, quality improvement, and medical staff leadership. Most recently, he was the regional medical director for Sound Physicians, overseeing hospital and emergency medicine programs.
He completed medical school in India, where he received internal medicine training at St. Vincent Hospital, and earned a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts. He is also a Certified Physician Executive and an American Association for Physician Leadership Fellow. Dr. Nimmagadda will lead Premier Health’s hospitalist program, reporting to Diane Pleiman with a dotted line to Dr. Roberto Colón.
Dr. David Cha is a graduate of the Wright State Boonshoft School of Medicine and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Miami Valley Hospital. For the last two years, he has been part of the Clinical Informatics Fellowship program at Kettering Health Network. He will spend 50% of his time in clinical work with Belmont Physicians within the Premier Physician Network, and the remainder of his time will be dedicated to informatics. He brings a passion for making the technology we use in digital health work well for our clinicians and our patients.
