Premier Health’s partnerships with local organizations, leaders, and citizens are the foundation of our mission to improve the health of the communities we serve with others. Our long-term strategic plan echoes the importance of these collaborations, and together, we not only identify much-needed community benefit programs, but also bring health care services where they are needed most.

Our annual Community Impact Report shares our support of outreach and partnerships that improve lives and make a difference for local residents. To provide a complete picture for a full year, the data we share are for the previous year’s activity. For 2021, Premier Health invested more than $226 million in community benefits, including nearly $182 million in free care and other unpaid services to families in need. These projects and services are a direct reflection of the dedication of our physicians, staff, volunteers, and community partners. 

This annual report provides a few examples of our mission at work across the Miami Valley. I invite you to learn how Premier Health, together with other community-inspired organizations, is providing funding for mammograms and related breast cancer services; comprehensive care and education for all patients with diabetes; greater access to health care in all our communities; life-saving behavioral health and substance abuse prevention services; and community support to inspire a sense of belonging, encouragement, and inclusion.
