What is a Laborist?

Our nocturnist labor and delivery team are experienced labor and delivery specialists available and onsite at Miami Valley Hospital. This ensures that 24 hours a day, seven days a week, labor and delivery experts are available for our soon-to-be moms.

Dr. Deborah Bredestege, MD

Dr. Bredestege graduated from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, OH. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati, OH.

Dr. Bredestege is a fellow of and board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Richard G. McNeely DO, FACOOG

Dr. McNeely graduated from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, OH. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Doctors Hospital in Massillon, OH and Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls, OH.

Dr. McNeely is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
