Clergy Badges
Clergy and authorized congregational representatives may obtain a Miami Valley Hospital clergy badge for use when they are visiting hospitalized members of their faith community at Miami Valley Hospital. A clergy badge provides complementary parking in the main Miami Valley Hospital and Apple Street parking garages.
Clergy badges may be obtained from the Miami Valley Hospital security department, located on the ground floor below the emergency department at Miami Valley Hospital’s main campus. Currently, the security department is open by appointment only. Please call the security department at (937) 208-2226(937) 208-2226, Monday through Thursday, between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. to make an appointment to go in and obtain a clergy badge.
The cost for a clergy badge, which is good for three years, is $20. Each applicant also needs to provide a signed official statement on letterhead from a congregational leader indicating that the applicant is an authorized representative of their faith community who will be visiting hospitalized members of the congregation.
Clergy badges are not available or needed for Atrium Medical Center and Upper Valley Medical Center, as parking is complementary for all visitors at these facilities.
