Detection and Prevention
Back pain and spine injuries are complex conditions that require a team approach. The spine team at Premier Health combines a patient-centered philosophy with advanced diagnostic skills.
Your doctor may refer you to our spine team after an initial assessment of your condition or to help you manage pain.
If you experience a spine trauma, our experts at the region’s only Level I Trauma Center at Miami Valley Hospital provide the highest level of emergency care for complex and unusual spine conditions.
Atrium Medical Center’s Level III Trauma Center also manages spine patients. In the most serious spine emergencies, the Atrium trauma team will assess your condition and stabilize the spine. If you need a higher level of care you will be transported to the Level I Trauma Center.
