Inpatient Rehabilitation Program
After you're discharged from the hospital, your physician and rehabilitation treatment team may recommend an inpatient rehabilitation stay. If your injury or illness requires further, more comprehensive rehabilitation services, our inpatient rehabilitation facilities can provide all rehabilitation disciplines twice per day.
Inpatient rehabilitation services are available at Atrium Medical Center or Upper Valley Medical Center.
What Conditions Are Treated?
Our Inpatient Rehabilitation Programs focus on numerous diagnoses and conditions, including but not limited to:
- Amputations
- Brain injury
- Burns
- Cardiac and pulmonary conditions
- Multiple trauma
- Neurological conditions
- Orthopedic conditions such as joint replacements, lower/upper extremity fractures, or spinal surgery
- Spinal cord injury
- Stroke
What You Can Expect
Your rehab team will include specially trained, board-certified physicians and other health care professionals experienced in rehabilitation. Together they will develop a treatment program to meet your individual needs.
Our full range of inpatient rehab services include physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy,
and recreational therapy, among others.
Our goal is help you regain strength and learn or re-learn skills for daily living. We’ll help you move past the challenges of your injury or illness to reach your highest level of recovery, and return to a productive, fulfilling life.
