Katie DeWilde, AT, CSCS
Katie graduated from Wright State University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training. She chose a career as an athletic trainer because she feels it is
important for someone to be watch out for the safety of athletes while they are playing sports. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors and training future service dogs. Katie joined Premier Health in August 2019.
Christopher Cleverly, AT
Chris graduated from Ohio University in 2020 with a degree in athletic training. He chose a career in athletic training so he could have the same impact on
athletes as his high school athletic trainer had on him. During high school Chris also developed an interest in how the human body works and how strength and conditioning impact both recovery and prevention of injuries. He enjoys being physically
active and watching his favorite soccer team compete in the English Premier League. He also enjoys traveling to the beach and mountains and spending time with family and close friends. Chris joined Premier Health in 2020.
Kevin Swartz, AT, CES
Kevin Swartz earned his degree in athletic training from Wright State University. He joined Premier Health in 2016. Kevin enjoys running and almost anything that involves being active. “I've always been a runner, so I can appreciate how important it is to stay injury-free for competition and how frustrating it is when you do get hurt,” he said.
Paul Krebs, MD
Dr. Paul A. Krebs graduated from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. He completed the Wright State University family medicine residency program and The Ohio State University primary care
sports medicine fellowship program. Dr. Krebs is board certified in sports medicine and practices with Premier Orthopedics.
He has a special interest in interventional ultrasound procedures, platelet rich plasma (PRP) injections,
and the care of endurance athletes.
Eric Fester, MD - Orthopedic Consultant
Eric Fester, MD graduated from the United State Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. He attended medical school at The Uniformed Services University of Health Services
in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Fester completed his internship at David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base, CA and his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base, TX. He completed an Orthopaedic Sports
Medicine Fellowship at Cincinnati Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center in Cincinnati, OH.
Dr. Fester is a diplomate and fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and is a member of the American Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine.
Dr. Fester offers the newest cartilage restoration technique available, matrix-induced autologous chondrocyte implantation (MACI) cartilage transplant.
MACI transplant, a two-step procedure using the patient's own cartilage, is most effective for active patients, from their teens to 50s.
Jeffrey A. James, DO - Medical Director
Dr. Jeffrey A. James received his medical degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2012. Dr. James completed a family medicine residency at TriHealth Bethesda in 2015 and a primary
care sports medicine fellowship at TriHealth Bethesda in 2016. He is board certified in family medicine and practices with Premier Orthopedics.
Dr. James is a Credentialed ImPACT® Consultant trained in treating concussions as well as administering and interpreting the ImPACT® test.
