Jordan Eshbaugh, AT
Jordan, a native of the Dayton area, received his undergraduate degree in athletic training from Wright State University in 2016. He has always enjoyed athletics and was influenced strongly by his high school athletic trainer, which is why he chose a career in athletic training. Jordan enjoys hiking, fishing, backpacking, camping, and playing golf. He joined Premier Health in 2016.
Erin Geyer, AT
Erin Geyer earned her undergraduate degree in athletic training from Miami University. She went on to complete her master’s degree in sports medicine at Georgia State University. Erin has been with Premier Health since 2016. She loves the interaction with the athletic community that is part of her job. “I enjoy being a part of the community working in the high school on a day-to-day basis. I love to see my student athletes return from injury and to help work with all aspects of their care, communicating with doctors and other therapists to create a support system individualized to them. I enjoy the hands on, ever-changing work environment of my job and getting to help people every day.” In her spare time, Erin enjoys running, hiking, skiing, and spending time with family.
Eric Newman, AT
Eric Newman has been with Premier Health since 2001. Eric serves as an Athletic Trainer for Northmont High School. Eric teaches Health at Northmont High School and has been doing so since 2005. He is a graduate of Wright State University where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Education and Athletic Training in 1993.
Before coming to Premier Health, Eric worked as the Head Athletic Trainer and Adjunct Instructor at Clark State Community College. Eric is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA). He is also a nationally certified Athletic Trainer and is licensed in the state of Ohio.
Michael Barrow, MD - Medical Director
Dr. Mike Barrow is a sports medicine physician at Premier Health Family Care - North. He is a graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine and is board certified in family practice and sports medicine.
Dr. Barrow received the Public Health Award from the American Academy of Family Physicians and served as an attending physician for the Sports Medicine Clinic, United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Dr. Barrow serves as the assistant team physician for the University of Dayton women’s basketball team. Dr. Barrow received the High School Team Physician of the Year Award from the Ohio Athletic Trainers Association in 2004.
James Klosterman, MD - Orthopedic Consultant
Dr. James Klosterman is the orthopedic consultant for Miami Valley Hospital Sports Medicine Center, Miami Valley Hospital North location. He practices with Premier Orthopedics and specializes in sports-related injuries, shoulder reconstruction, complex knee reconstruction, and minimally invasive knee replacement surgery.
Dr. Klosterman is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He is a leader in anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction in the Dayton area and has a special interest in ACL injury prevention.
