Labs and Pathology

Premier Health lab and pathology services are accredited by the College of American Pathology. They include:

  • Six hospital-based laboratories
  • Two free-standing emergency departments with 24-hour laboratory services
  • Multiple outpatient satellite locations

More than four million billable tests are performed per year across all Premier Hospital lab sites (excluding phlebotomy).

Partnership with CompuNet Clinical Laboratories

Premier Health has majority ownership in CompuNet Clinical Laboratories, providing physicians a system-based approach to clinical laboratory testing. Founded in 1986, CompuNet is a full-service clinical laboratory serving physicians, hospitals, employers, health care industry organizations and patients throughout Southwest Ohio.

  • CompuNet performs 98% of testing locally.
  • Innovative laboratories and Patient Service Centers are conveniently located across the region.
