Support Groups
If you have cancer, you may find comfort in the support of others who know what you are experiencing. Premier Health offers the following support groups to help you manage the emotional and psychological demands of cancer.
Cancer Care Support Groups
These groups program offer support to all people whom cancer affects. No matter your specific disease site, whether you are currently undergoing treatment, or you are a survivor or a caregiver, you are welcome to attend. Typical meetings offer an opportunity to share and connect with others and guest speakers on topics such as community resources, exercise, nutrition, and diagnosis and treatment updates.
Atrium Medical Center
The group meets the third Tuesday of the month from 4 to 5 p.m. at Atrium Medical Center, in classroom 5A on the fifth floor of the Professional Building. The classes are also offered virtually via video/telephone conference for those who cannot or do not wish to travel to the hospital. For more information, call (513) 974-6873 (513) 974-6873.
Miami Valley Hospital North and Miami Valley Hospital South
The group is held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 4 to 5:30 p.m. You can join in person at both Miami Valley Hospital South, Miami Valley Hospital North or online via the Teams platform which allows for confidential access to the meeting. The link and conference ID are emailed to participants the week of meetings.
If you are attending in person at Miami Valley Hospital South, we meet in the Cancer Center board room (room M1108).

Ostomy Support Group
The Ostomy Support Group offers education, support, and sharing experiences and insight into living with an ostomy. Family members or others are welcome. This group meets at the Upper Valley Medical Center Cancer Care Center on the first Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. Call (937) 440-4706(937) 440-4706 for more information.
