Earlier Access To Palliative Care

Quality cancer care reaches beyond technology and convenient locations. It also requires access to services that support physical comfort and emotional well-being, which can help promote healing.

Our recently improved screening tool aids our cancer team in identifying palliative care needs of patients as early in their disease process as possible for optimal health. In addition, our social workers can connect with patients to evaluate needs and assist with referrals.

Premier frequently works with Pure Healthcare, located on the Miami Valley Hospital South campus. Pure Healthcare works in partnership with Premier Health to offer palliative care specialists and a care model consistent with our individualized, patient-centered care philosophy.
